Whose Death Is It Anyway? - 2pm and 7pm
2825 E. Barnett Street
Medford, OR [map]
Price: Free

“Whose Death Is It Anyway” is a new, short play by Peter Quince. In this play, a woman (Brady Rubin) sees all the end-of-life choices she carefully thought out ahead of time taken from her one by one — even the choice to be ready for Death (Michael Meyer). She picked her daughter (Laura Derocher) to speak for her but the choices weren’t as clear as her daughter anticipated, panic took over, and the doctor (Peter Quince) and nurse (Laurena Mullins) continuously defined each new alternative as “buying a little more time.” Facing yet another awful choice, the daughter tries to figure out how they got there and what to do now. The play is followed by audience and cast discussion of the issues illuminated. This is a Choosing Options, Honoring Options public forum.
